Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Rony Büro collects when you use ronyburo.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain language on purpose.
Who is responsible for your data
Rony Büro is the trading name under which Veronika Zavhorodnia works as an independent interior designer. She decides what data this website collects and why, and is therefore the data controller. Projects in Belgium and the wider Benelux are contracted through SMart Belgium. Contact: buro.rony@gmail.com
What we collect and why
| Data | When | Why (legal basis) |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone (optional) | When you submit a contact or calculator form | To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Project details you describe (space type, area, budget, timing) | When you use a cost calculator or write to us | To calculate an estimate and understand your project — your request |
| Your WhatsApp phone number and messages | Only if you start a chat with us | To communicate with you — your request. Note that WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy |
| Anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, device type, referring source) | While browsing, if analytics are enabled | To understand which content is useful — our legitimate interest, or your consent where required |
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to receive them.
- We do not collect payment card details through this website.
- The cost calculators run entirely in your browser — your answers are only sent to us if you choose to submit the contact form at the end.
Who else may process your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host (Netlify), our email provider, and — if you choose to use them — WhatsApp for messaging and Calendly for booking consultations. If your enquiry becomes a project, the contract and invoicing run through SMart Belgium, which therefore receives the details needed to bill you. Each of these acts under its own data protection terms and only for the purpose described above.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Data related to an actual project is kept for as long as the project runs and afterwards for the period required by Belgian accounting and tax law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time:
- ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to processing or ask us to restrict it;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority(dataprotectionauthority.be).
To exercise any of these, simply write to buro.rony@gmail.com — we respond within one month.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. What we store on your device is limited to two things you control: the cookie choice itself and your language preference — both stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
| What | Purpose | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary storage | Remembers your cookie choice and your language so we do not ask again on every page. | No — the site cannot work without it |
| Booking calendar (Calendly) | Loads the scheduling calendar on the contacts page. Calendly is a third party: it sets its own cookies and sees that you visited. | Yes — nothing loads until you allow it |
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Declining costs you nothing: you can still book by WhatsApp or email. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will ask again before anything loads.
